I had the best day off! I struggled with guilt most of the morning, but managed to squish the little monster down eventually. I then proceeded to follow most of the excellent suggestions you guys gave me. You're great! Thanks!

I slept late, ate junk food, had nibblies (including one piece of chocolate), drank tea, read, knitted, worked on a necklace design, plucked cherry tomatoes and raspberries from our terrace and watched TV.

Today it's back to the grid. The day off did me good, though. It's 10:03 and I'm waaay ahead of schedule. I've already done the dishes, washed kitchen floor, emptied cat litter, worked on commission, tidied living room, checked bank accounts and answered E-mails. This has been an important lesson. Unless I actually leave the apartment, I'm extremely bad at taking time off, but feeling how creative and relaxed I was yesterday, it's definitely not going to be the last time I yank a full day out of the calendar. :)

Wow. I don't get that much done before 10:30. What a nice day off, too.
