Nov. 6th, 2006 09:51 amWent to see Borat yesterday. At first I was shocked about the Americans, but then the cynical part of me took over and I started to wonder how many people they had to film before getting such extreme reactions. Overall it was entertaining and worth a few laughs, but many of the scenes were remakes of his series.
Before the movie we met at a friend's new girlfriend's place. It was the first time I've been in a home of someone close to my age, with almost my taste in interior decoration, and with unlimited funds. Ohhhhh I liked it! There were Ikea furnitures, mixed with what looked like custom made pieces, mixed with cheaper Asien furniture. Small personal items, probably gathered from travels around the world, lots of black and white photos, and some modern art, which I suspect she made herself.
No internet connection all day yesterday, but we survived. :)
