Nov. 7th, 2006 12:03 pmI've started clicker training Jonesy again and now that I've adjusted to the 30 seconds attention span*, I can start seeing how bright he is. Felix is still a no-clue kitty, so instead of looking at his wide indignant eyes, I just give him a treat every time Jonesy gets one. Luckily Jonesy has figured out that it's faster to offer me the correct behaviour than to steal Felix's treats.
On another note I must pull myself together. I can't seem to get into the rhythm of getting things done after my flu and brief down period. The place is tidy enough, but it won't hold up to close scrutiny and don't even mention writing, reading, painting, and non-urgent work.
Felix has suddenly remembered that he likes tea - a lot. I must remember always to leave my mug on cat free zones.
And now I must try to get my lazy butt off the chair...

*Using the training intensity of a Belgian Sheepdog as a reference is really only fair to Border Collies and Belgian Sheepdogs, I suppose.
