I, on the other hand, am apparently not so erudite: I had to glook up multifarious, which still somehow strikes me as a peculiar word to connect with vocabulary, like saying the soggy ocean. . . but us non-erudites just don't get these things, I guess. ;)

That's a good habit to have. :) I always find myself looking up words I know the meaning of perfectly well during my revisions because I get the nervous, what-if-I'm-wrong-and-the-agent-will-think-I'm-dumb flutters.
