Note to self, because a box of semi-precious stone beads is not unreasonably heavy when moving it 10 metres and down four steps from the apartment entrance to the garage, it doesn't mean that it's going to a piece of cake carrying it up to to 3rd floor.

I have a load of housework needing to be done. I'm also into one of my cooking periods, meaning that I'm experimenting in the kitchen every day. I've had this urge to bake oatmeal cookies for some time now, but I might as well wait until December and add them to the Christmas baking.

Dermatologist called yesterday with the results from my blood tests. Everything is normal, better than average even. This is good, but of course it explains nothing, so I'm going there again tomorrow and we're going to try a different approach.

Anyone seen the movie Proof? The jojoba conversation? I have similar ones all the time, the lastest yesterday with my mother:

M: Thanks for the shampoo. I'll have to test it first to see if I'm allergic to it.
Mother: It has no chemicals. It's completely natural.
M: Natural is also chemicals.
Mother: ....

Does this make me a nerd?

It indicates that you are sensible and intelligent. You can't be a nerd: you think too much about things other than sex. .. but maybe that only holds with male nerds. The movie didn't say.

Why bake all your cookies at one time? You will just overeat then! (As opposed to overeating now, as well, perhaps? hmmm. .. .)

You are supposed to know that about heavy boxes of beads! You are supposed to be sensible and intelligent! Do not disappoint your thousands of readers by injuring yourself! Think how Jonesy would torment you in his desire to offer comfort! :)

Weeeell, actually I just bought a huge pack of scottish cookies. It was on cheap-sale and there are a selection of cookies, too tempting to resist. Add oatmeal cookies to that and I'll by cookie-shaped myself by Christmas. :)

Yeah, I know the bead thing...just as well as you know the digging in the garden thing, I suppose? *lifts eyebrow*

I liked that movie. :p And ya know, peanuts and wheat are natural, but some people are super allergic. I don't think you're a nerd at all. :)
