Dear courier driver,

It's okay that you don't help me shift the box from the front door to our garage, but having you sit in your truck and watch me struggle with a box that weighs 2/3 of my bodyweight and has almost the same bulk as me - that's just weird.

Could be a legal issue. Do you get to pick where packages are delivered to? I remember we filled out a form that offered front door, garage, side of house, things like that.

But if he's not allowed to heft packages for you, he may have wanted to watch so that if you fell over with a stroke, he could call for help for you.

Hey, have you considered a dolly of some sort for this kind of wrassling? (There's no dolly for digging. But maybe if I get my wrist fixed, I will try using the tiller next year.)

I think they're just obliged to bring it to the front door. To give him the benefit of the doubt I'm telling myself that he was probably extremely busy and was doing paperwork in the truck.
