This has been the most seamless integration of a new pet that I've ever encountered. Jonesy and Felix are behaving much better than expected, as is kitten. Kitten has his own little personality. I think he's going to be as stubborn as Fisen was, but he's definitely a whole lot easier to handle than Jonesy at that age...or Jonesy now for that matter. And he understands the ah-ah, which is a huge advantage.
One thing he has in common with Jonesy is the chirping, the love of cuddles and wrestling, and he's exactly the same as Jonesy was about being left alone. Oh the drama, the agony, the ill-treatment of little kitties!*
Felix acts as if kitten has been here all the time and the kitten is good not to disturb him and not to be too boisterous around him.
Jonesy has started to play more roughly around the kitten, but for Jonesy, he's still being extremely careful and quick to back off, and kitten is not afraid to voice his opinion about being pounced upon. :)

Work
Work has really picked up these past month or so. If it continues like this, I might actually be able to take out a salary for myself! *be still my beating heart*
Non-work
I took the weekend off! It was good. I baked, tried to sleep (not easy with new cat in house), cleaned, watched DVDs. The Fantastic Four - very silly in my opinion. C rented it for me, but it hadn't even entered my mind to see it. In My Father's Den - I recommend this one and I'm definitely going to check out the books by Maurice Gee. Last movie seen was An Unfinished Life - also a lovely movie.
Being sleepy and watching all those DVDs meant that I didn't read, though. Still, knowing that I have books waiting for me is a warm fuzzy thought.
