Took Felix to the vet again for his tail. This time we came home with a foam to rub in (not a success according to Felix), cortisone tablets and antibiotic tablets. Hopefully this will do the trick, he's become quite a little patient and for the first time yesterday he didn't go voluntarily in and out of the cat carrier. He behaved perfectly with the vet, but I think he's getting fed-up with the whole thing, poor guy.

Kitten is to be called Murphy. It's not one of the names we had considered, but we got a few nudges. On the evening we got the kitten C had a Murphy's Stout, not something he has very often, and then independently of that cathemery suggested the name, and then there's Murphy's Law. :)

We're so pleased with him. He's extremely easy and fits into the cat dynamics like the missing piece of a puzzle. Felix has more peace, Jonesy has a playmate and Murphy has enough spunk to stand up to Jonesy.

Right now it's nap time. Felix is on the office chair as usual, Jonesy is sleeping in the cat carrier (his own private boudoir) and Murphy is zonked out on a cat blanket on the desk.

Now the theory was that I used this after Christmas rush lull to write, but I started reading Oracle's Queen and I'm finding it difficult to use my spare time for anything else...haha. The good thing is that my brain is still working on the writing stuff, but that it's all over TDH and not Arvingen. Luckily no new plot points are turning up, it's all character building and the relationship between Isha and Adric.

PS. Argh. Just remembered that I'm not allowed to wear black, so I can't get an Epilogue T-shirt. :(

You can get them in different colours!! When I bought one, at the checkout, it had colour options. Red, green...um, blue :D

Ohhh that's cool. Chad only said they'd be getting them in white eventually, but red or green are fine. :)

also, i love hearing about your cats. we're not allowed to have a cat in our flat (thought we're both cat people). hearing about your three (THREE!) is great. 8-)
