Mar. 6th, 2007 12:34 pmSaw S and M's new baby boy Sunday. Cute and tiiiiny, he's 5 weeks old now and weighs just 2,8 kg. I held him for ages and M insisted that the baby liked me because he was quiet and non-fussy. I usually have this effect on children, but I'm secretly suspecting that it's because they're scared stiff - either that or I'm so boring they start to feel drowsy.
Cooked duck-breasts yesterday with pasta and a chestnut/maple syrup/orange sauce. Turned out very good, if I may say so myself. U and CL will be coming tomorrow to watch the football game, well the guys will be watching, I'm supposed to show CL the beads. We'll be ordering pizzas, but I guess I should have something for evening coffee, so I'll probably bake something.
Murphy will be castrated tomorrow, poor boy. I hate being responsible for causing him any pain. I've been much more cynical with my other pets, but Murphy has this blind trust, instant love and faith toward everyone he meets that I just don't want to betray.
