Oh...and Murphy's doing great. He was back to his old self by 21:00 yesterday evening, just 5 hours after surgery, and in fact the most distressing thing for him seemed to be that he had peed on himself while drugged.

Murphy, Felix and Jonesy ganged up on me this morning, refusing to let me sleep late. Various tactics were used, braving the water-spray bottle, there was whining (Murphy, Jonesy) and scratching the bedroom door (Jonesy), then later there was the walking all over me (Felix), purring at ear-deafning volumes (Felix) and pouncing (Murphy). It worked, because I got too annoyed to sleep.

Instead I got up and was active:

- worked on TDH for over an hour
- did dishes
- packed beads
- packed orders
- took bead photos and processed them
- cycled 18 km on the exercise bike
- read (more about that later)

Hmmm it doesn't look of much when listed like that, but it felt like a lot.

and i'm glad murphy is doing a-ok after his surgery. he sounds like a tough little fellow.
