Jonesy update

C talked to the vet, who now thinks it's either a sprained muscle in the boy's back or a slipped disk, we're going to pick up some painkillers for him and then he'll be going for a check-up next week. If he's not better by then, the vet will take some x-rays.

I'm pleased, particularly about the painkillers. Murphy has just started to realise that Jonesy is Jonesy and wants to catch up on two days of play, but Jonesy's had it with Murphy's earlier hysterics and will have none of it. I've had to intervene three times today and it's only 11 o'clock. *sigh*

I could, but whenever possible, I'd rather they work it out with me supervising their behaviour. It's been a stressful morning, but it appears to be working, they've all more or less been napping the past three hours. :)

Good, he will be out of pain and not be tensing up with it. Maybe he will have a chance to heal faster.

Yes, hopefully. There haven't been any incidents so far today, it could be because he's more careful, but I hope it's because he's healing.
