Today it's Felix' birthday. Daftest cat in the world is now 12 years old. We used to think he was the most cuddly as well, but that was before Murphy, the velcro cat, was born. :)

Is he going to get a special birthday meal? Mine are rather partial to shrimp, as long as they are shelled.

He did indeed have shrimps, plus some grilled cod. :)

Shrimps is his sixth or seventh favourite food right up there along with tuna and salmon. Otherwise he's mostly a fruit and vegetable cat. Cucumber, honey melon, maize and roasted chestnuts top the list.

I am not astonished by the fruit and veggies. (g) My lost boy was passionate about olives stuffed with pimentos. If the filling had fallen out and he got a plain olive we got a very sour lemon look.

Olives! I never thought of given them that, I always assumed that the strong taste would put them off. Definitely have to try it now. :)
