Yeah, but we're not that excited about it. It's close to four mink farms (problems with flies, according to my friend who works in the goverment's environmental department) and the layout is not too good.

Ew! I can tell you first hand that mink farms STINK. The stink zone from just one farm is quite large too.

Yeah, my friend did say that the stink wasn't that bad, but I'm suspecting she's only gone on inspections during the fly-season in summer, because I've heard that it can be pretty bad during the skinning season in November-December.

No. It was because they suddenly realised they couldn't afford to purchase a property in the new area they wanted to move to. Surprise, surprise. It's not as if house-prices are a complete secret, but of course, if they only started looking yesterday...

This is all so unfair. Did they put it on just to test the market and find out what their current value is? I assume the realator is hopping mad,what with all the wasted time and money laid out to sell something and then have it withdrawn at the eleventh hour.

There is still the farmhouse, but I know it isn't your first choice.

We could, the problem is the market, we had already vacuumed it for potential homes before we went up north. I guess we'll just have to wait for more properties to be put on sale - either that or buy a cheaper home, which we could then live in while we search for *the house*.
