The kittens are growing and are all over the place. I have to watch every step I take when I visit. I've *aehmm* given them names - temporary! names, based on their personalities:

Bold, who we will be keeping. Bold is fearless, ruthlessly demanding cuddles and always the first kitten to check out new things.

Greedy is one step behind Bold. When I brought them kitten-food for the first time yesterday, Greedy immediately crawled onto the place and tucked in as if it had done it a gazillion times before. Greedy is also the loudest purrer and plainly spaces out when groomed or scritched.

Explorer is one of the semi-abandoned kittens, but has caught up extremely well. Explorer is always clambering over things or squishing under them, but is otherwise the kitten in the middle. Your average playful, nosy and cuddly kitten.

Timid would generally prefer it if mommy was around all the time. Timid is the one hanging back while the others rush to greet the new sights and sounds.

Little Friend is the other of the semi-abandoned kittens. It's still slightly smaller than its siblings, but otherwise looks very similar to Explorer. Little Friend sticks by Timid - for a while. Sooner or later its curiosity gets the better of it and its tottering around with the others. Without the moral support of Little, Timid often finds itself forced to venture out for a bit of cuddles and fun (which is apparently not half-bad, once it's gotten used to the idea)

and no, I'm not planning on keeping all. I have plenty of cats. Murp* is cuddling and showering me with kitty-kisses as I'm writing this, Felix is zonked out at my feet, and Frasier woke me up at 7:00 this morning with his whining outside.

*Murp, who today overturned a claypot much larger than himself, causing it to crash to the floor, making three dents in the wood and shattering into a million pieces.
