C and Dennis went surf-casting. I stayed home for a plumber's appointment and to work. The plumber came, he's partner in a plumbing, heating etc. company in town - and he was the one who fixed our furnace, so I had a good impression of him, which was further confirmed today. He knew what *I* was talking about, and he knew what *he* was talking about.

Timid somehow managed to get out of the basement while I was talking to the plumber outside. Suddenly I heard these really tiny meows and turned around to find a very relieved kitten run up to me. Lilith and Frasier were keeping an eye on him, so he was safe enough even if he hadn't found me immediately. I took him in again where he was greeted like a hero by the others. He felt like a hero too, I think, because he was all frisky and cocky, quite unlike his usual quiet self. :)
