Dec. 17th, 2007 12:06 pmGreedy joined Timid today for his outside morning adventure. We had to run an errand, so it was a perfect time to test the kittens on the car. Luckily they seemed pretty scared of it and stayed well away. I know they are farm cats and that I can't wrap them in cotton wool or keep them in the basement for the rest of their lives - that doesn't stop me from fretting, worrying and overprotecting. It's probably a good thing I don't have kids.
Later...
Since she couldn't seem to find her way back in for breakfast, I carried her inside.
C: What are you doing?
M: Taking the kitten back to the basement for food.
C: Show her to Murphy first.
M: *changes position sligtly to let Murp see kitten*
Murphy: STRANGER the size of my head! HISS HISSS HISSSSSS!a)
Greedy: Ooookay. Just keep carrying me, May. Don't let go now. *clings*

a) So very unlike his own welcome into the family, where Jonesy and Felix merely (and very un-cat like) went "Awwwwwwwww kitten"
