It's been a slow start-up, but the wheels are slowly, grudgingly turning. We picked up the floor Friday, the kitchen arrived today, the plumber too. Now if only the electrician would show up...

A new kitchen. :sigh: I've been watching too much HGTV, and find myself wanting to knock down walls and install built-ins everywhere in this rented space.

It's way overrated. :P

Cooking is near impossible while the kitchen is out, I do the dishes in the bathroom sink, there's dust and muck everywhere, workmen who might or might not arrive at 7 am, the havoc from the kitchen has spread to the rest of the house, there are boxes everywhere, plus we have the new kitchen stacked up in our living room. Plus of course all the work we have to do ourselves.
