Guessing Game with C...

Introduction: As most of you know, C doesn't read books and isn't into fantasy or sci-fi. We both love the "Frasier" series, though - and the other day the name "Ichabod Crane" was mentioned in an episode. C and I then have a guessing game regarding which movie he's seen with this character in it.

M: It's a fantasy/dark fantasy/horror movie.
C: Star Trek, Star Wars-
M: - *waves hands wildly about* That's Sci-Fi! And now you make me feel like Noel.
M: It has one of my favourite actors playing Ichabod. He's made a lot of fantasy movies.
C: Rutger Hauer.
M: Nice, but that's not it.
C: Jean Luc!!!!
M: Patrick Steward is still Sci-Fi.
C: Robert De Niro! The one with the star. That was fantasy!

A little later and C has guessed Johnny Depp.
C: It's the movie with the scissors. *waves fingers about in scissor-like movements*
M: No.
C: The one with the pirate!
M: No.
C: Willy Wonka!
M: Errr no.
C: Lord of the Rings!
M: Johnny Depp wasn't in LOTR
C: The one where they open the door and there is snow outside!
M: .... .... .... you mean Narnia?
C: YES!
M: Johnny Depp wasn't in Narnia either. Let me give you another hint. The title is two words. The first word is something I am a lot.
C: STUBBORN!
M: No!!!!
C: Opinionated? Interrogative? Strange?
M: Hold it right there!

C got it eventually. At what point did you? *wink*

i knew ichabod crane right from the start, 'cause i'm rather fond of the tale of the headless horseman. uh...*ahem*....maybe also fond of johnny depp. just a little. ;-)
