Argh...today C notices that our new kitchen fitting is leaking. While I'm wiping away the water, the whole thing BREAKS off. There's a 5 year warrantee on it, so I'm not terribly worried about the financial aspect of it (unless the company turns out to be difficult to deal with in which case I'll have to take it further), but it's SUCH a hassle. No water in the kitchen again, filing a complaint, the fact that we might have to send in the broken pieces (and pay the shipping ourselves), the wait until we get a replacement and then installing the replacement. I want the kitchen to finish, dammit!

And on top of that, the whole bathroom fixings have been stalled because of a missing shower and shower stand. I don't know if it's the plumber who didn't order the material in time or if there is a delivery delay (although I'm suspecting the former).

Ugh. I hope the kitchen people are reasonable and the parts exchange happens without any fuss. And you have had horrible luck all around with plumbers and plumbing, haven't you? o.O
