rimturseIt's apparently been out there for some time, but I just read that they have been able to get viable stemcells from menstrual blood.
Even though I could be one of those benefitting from stemcell research, I've always been hesitant about it, because of the whole issue of where the stemcells would come from. Viable stemcells in menstrual blood could wipe away the reservations against the research, as it could mean not only an unlimited supply and also non-invasive harvesting of cells.
