rimturseOkay, this should be posted in my other journal, but it might totally ruin my image as a serious dog-handler.
It was 11 hours from we left home till we returned. A lot of driving and two 45 minute ferry rides, but it was worth it:
SQUEEEEEEEEEEE! PUPPIES PUPPIESPUPPIESPUPPIES! 19 of them and all clumsy-cute, "scritch my tummy!" (complete with hind leg kicking tics) and "lets me bitessss you littlebit!". Puppy-smell, puppy love and play -> instant sleep like logs puppies.
We have a couple of favourites, but we're awaiting the results of the puppy-mental test in two weeks.
