rimturseMy first tick bite! The little critter has been hammered flat and, dead as dead can be, flushed into the toilet. Everything has been disinfected. The tick has been there for a maximum of 2,5 hours, so I should be in the clear. Will definitely give myself a thorough check under the shower tonight. I have the creepy-crawlies now. :(
I have to admit that there was a certain satisfaction in removing a tick from a hairless patch of skin (it had hidden itself under my wrist watch) and more importantly, a non-moving, hairless patch of skin. Unless she's tired, Lia is a wriggle-pot when it comes to tick removals.
