Winter has started

The days have been getting shorter for some time now and this morning when I woke up the grass was covered in hail that had fallen during the night.

Hmmmm, you miss nearly daily 15-20 m/s icy cold winds, sleet, rain, hail, ice-rain, the occasional snow-fall, darkness and naked trees and bushes?

I admit it can be rather cosy, especially when coming in from a freezing walk and then snuggling up with hot cocoa, cake, lit candles and a good book, but the novelty of that tends to wear thing after a few months. *grin*

Yes, I miss all of that. Guess that makes me nuts. And, yeah, the wearing thin is normal. That's why I'm a gal that likes all the seasons and feel cheated when I only have one and a half. :D
