They can be real sweet-hearts sometimes, especially that husband of mine.
Today the electrician snuck quietly into the house and started working in the back-section, obviously trying not to wake me. Later he installed a power plug for my washing machine and I love it. Now I don't have to worry about leaving the house with the machine still running - not to mention that electrician swept the laundry room, even though he hadn't made a mess today.
Saturday, C not only took over 90% of all Lia duties because I was post-injection under the weather. He also cooked beef soup from scratch, making sure to give the dog one of the bones. I mentioned how my dad would like the soup, and when my mother called to self-invite her and my dad for afternoon coffee Sunday, C insisted they come for lunch. He served the soup, which my small-eating dad loved so much he finished much faster than everyone else, something C immediately noticed and gave him a refill. Then he cooked steaks for my dad with home-made fried potatoes and made chicken skewers for my mother who is not keen on beef. He also got up at 7 am Sunday morning and when I surfaced hours later, I was met with the smell of cinnamon-apple muffins baking in the oven, and later he packed some for my mother to take home with her.
Speaking of men, my father, together with my mother, drove 4 times to our place last week to take my shop-orders to the post-office. He and my mother will also be looking after Lia for some hours on Thursday.
