How one 7 month old puppy outwits a 67 year old man.

M: Thanks for wanting to look after Lia, dad. She's had a double dose of daily romping and will probably sleep all afternoon.
J: Sounds good.

10 mins after I leave:
Lia: Let's go for a walk!
J: Aren't you sleepy?
Lia: Pwease? Pweeeeaaaase? PWEEEEEAAAAAASSSEEE?
J: Okay.
Lia: YAY!

After they come back from the walk, Lia potters around a bit with my mother (who thinks a puppy without food in her mouth is a neglected puppy), then naps for 5 minutes - and then:
Lia: J! Let's go for a walk!
J: No, we just went.
Lia: Pwease? Pweeeaaase?
J: No.
Lia: Oh! Oh! I've gotta go!
J: Okay, let's go out.
Lia: sucker.

After M comes back:
J: And then I asked her to pee, but she just looked at me as if I was crazy.
M: So she fibbed you, eh? And you went for two walks in less than 3 hours.
J: Hrmpf.
