I was supposed to take my injection Friday evening. Didn't get round to it. Forgot about it yesterday and only remembered past midnight. Decided to wait and inject today, but I'm so unmotivated. Gah.

My mother woke us up with a 6:20 phone-call. Now the first thing you should say when you wake people up at that hour, especially when your husband has a heart-condition and isn't taking properly care of himself, is: "EVERYONE IS OKAY", but oh no...not my mom. Her opening words were: "It's me! We're at the airport!". My heart does a double flip and lodges itself in my throat. Then she continues: "You have the key to our house, right?" And this is when I start to realize that no-body died and no-body is feeling unwell. Turns out that they had forgotten the key to their suitcase and they didn't think they have the time to drive back and get it (they did), so they wanted C to drive the 20 kms to their place, find the key, then drive the 45-50 mins to the airport to deliver it, which he did, because he's a nice guy and because we can't send my parents off on a 1 week vacation without them being able to open their suitcase.

I stayed home, but of course the whole commotion had Lia up and awake, which meant I had to walk around outside wearing nothing but my dressing-gown, waiting for the dog to do her business. By the time I came in, I was so cold and my brain working over-time from the shock that I only managed to get 30 mins of extra sleep. I'm beat. It's most likely the MS, but if I don't get at least 8 hours of sleep, I'm zombified all day. Maybe I'll take the injection and use a nap as a post-injection reward instead of my usual cuppa.

PS. The cake from last night was yummy. Not burnt at all, I have no idea why it smelled that way.
