rimturseNot knowing how much time my driving lessons would take up, I worked my butt off beginning of my working week (I'm counting from Friday to Friday). This meant that I could take the day off Tueday, which turned into half a day off, because of some work that couldn't wait - and the same thing today, I started late, did just the most urgent work ,and called it a day already at 15:00 - after which Lia and I took an afternoon nap. I normally don't nap, but it was soooo good.
So this week ended with 45 1/2 hours, still not the 40 hours I'm aiming for, but I did get in a couple of semi-relaxing days, 1K words, and a long soak in the tub.
Last night, I even had surplus energy and cooked ham mignon, stuffed with home-grown rosemary and New Zealand butter, and served with boiled potatoes and carrots, garnished with a cremefraiche lemon-herb dressing. Dessert was provided from the baker, custard/cream filled buns ("Fastelavnsboller").

Driving lessons:
My driving instructor is a master of omission. She gave me the impression we would just drive on trip onto a large, not-so busy road...and we did, but we also drove through a large, busy road in the city with loads of stop lights, and through at least 3 round-abouts, plus onto narrow and winding country roads with lots of starts and stops at a sloping angle. I'm not quite sure if I hate or love her.
According to her, I'm not half bad at this driving thing, but then she's probably forgotten about my pathetic backward slaloms and figure 8s.
My health certificate had to be sent to the main police office in Thisted because of my MS. I just got their approval for a license today, but I have to have it renewed every two years by sending in a new health certificate for them to approve. C's extremely annoyed about this. Calls it discrimination of the sick.
