Dear Lia,

I know you were just as surprised as I was and that you let go immediately, but let's go over this again:

Hard, brown stuff = stick.
Pink squishy stuff = my finger.

Yes, red came out, and, while I appreciate the gesture, there's no need to kiss* it better. I know it's weird, but the plaster is supposed to be there, honestly.

Love,
May

(I'm absolutely fine, it's not much more than a scratch and I'm up to date with my tetanus shot.)

She bit you? How did that happen?

Hugs.

We were playing, both went for the same stick in a wild dash, but I was a millisecond faster than her and her canine tooth came down on my finger. She wasn't applying full pressure and let go immediately, so it's just a minor scrape, especially considering that a dog her size could easily have broken the bone.

It's my own fault for playing like that, she's the careful one of the two of us. :)
