Thought I'd inject a bit of sunshine into the day and list the pleasant parts of the day:

- purring kitten on my lap
- Lia, who has an upset tummy, thinks Zoolac tastes GREAT
- I've been looking at beautiful borosilicate lampwork beads
- and facetted gemstones
- easy to pack orders
- cakes from the baker
- complimented the post office woman on her new hairstyle, which suits her so much better than the old German 80ties style she had before, and she was so pleased. :)
Not sure what's happening there, she also wore smarter clothes, a beautiful necklace and make-up. Not quite a Trinny and Susanna make-over, but pretty close.


I could do with a Trinny and Susanna make-over. I want to do something smart with my hair, but considering it's rod straight and doesn't take well to dye, curling, setting etc. plus I'm allergic to everything, so I'm not sure what can be done. I had a sharp pageboy cut when I was younger and hairmodelling, but C is dead against that style.

We actually just talked about it yesterday, as they were showing "Amelie" on TV and I casually mentioned that I used to have the same hairstyle, which was promptly followed by a "I don't like it!" from C.

You know, maybe you need a cut. Cutting your hair can be very liberating, not only the lessening of weight, but the change aspect. :)
