Feb. 13th, 2009 07:52 pmToday I went on the slippery slope.
That is; the slippery lane driving course. And I was good! Cool as a cucumber, breaking with and without ABS, yanking the handbreak while maintaining my original speed and keeping the car under control, doing slaloms at 50-60 km an hour, swerving, etc. Finally something driving related that comes natural to me, and I must admit there is a certain satisfaction in 35 year old, hobbit sized me, giving the 18 year old guys a run for their money. :p
Other news is that we have snow, and not just the 2-3 centimetres that we've had off and on during winter, but a lot of snow. So much that our neighbour tied two sledges to his tractor and was pulling the youngest kids round the field. Looked like a hoot!
Lia gets all silly-headed in the snow. Snow is for RUNNING and PLAYING! RUNPLAYRUNPLAYRUNPLAY!
