Mar. 8th, 2009 10:49 pm*sigh* our car fits me like two left shoes. Because I'm short, I need to push the seat forward, but even in the maximum forward position, I have to stretch to press down the clutch. And because I need to lift the seat for a good view through the front window, my knees are jammed against the dashboard.
So C's looking for a car for me, I think he'd like me to take an interest in the choice of cars, and I'm doing my best, but I have to admit that I find comparing cars as exciting as watching paint dry.

Date: 2009-03-08 10:38 pm (UTC)As for what you should be looking for, let him do all the looking under the hood and crawling underneath, etc, and endless comparing stats on performance. That is a boy thing and they are good at it.
When he has picked out a few possibilities, go sit in them and see if they fit you comfortably. Also, don't let him pick anything silver, or silver with a gold sheen, as this color is more difficult for other drivers to see. I had one and I can swear to this. People also say that red cars are more likely to get into accidents. Perhaps choose anything but those two. This is a girl thing.
