To submit or not to submit...
Mar. 11th, 2009 08:09 pmTo the OWW that is.
UPDATE: MIQ MADE ME DO IT!
I'm thinking Elpida, since everyone is probably sick of TDH by now, but just a few hours ago, before my afternoon nap, I was telling
mnfaure that given my track record of cyclical novel writing*, incomplete novels and snail paced writing I should probably not post anything until I had something semi-finished. Like a short story or a complete first draft.
Now, awake and having spent the past hour going over my Elpida material, I'm sooooooo tempted to submit, although I only have a prologue** and 2/3 of chapter 1.
Submitting and receiving reviews is a huge motivational factor for writing, but I don't want to post, stop halfway and then re-post in 3 years, which seems to be what I've been doing so far.

* I'm on the gazillionth draft of TDH and several of these have been posted on the OWW
** Submitted the prologue long time ago while we were still living in Switzerland. Read: incomplete novels and snail paced writing - or rather no writing at all.
