May: "Goooood girl! Thank you." *closes Lia in kitchen and opens door*
Crew cut, late 30s, delivery guy, with the stance of a bodybuilder: Oh nooooo, why did you put the dog away? It was a Groenendael, right? I have Tervuerens. *hands May package and device to sign while he's craning his neck to get a look at the dog* Can I talk to her? Can't she come out and say hello?
May: "Sure" *Lets out Lia*
Delivery guy: Ohhhhh I luuuuuurve you. What a lovely doggy! What a loooooooovely doggy! Awwwwww look, she's smiling just like my dogs. Awwwww come let me give you a cuddle! Doggywoggywoggydoggy!
May: *trying hard not to crack up*
Lia: *kisses stranger and piddles on the floor out of sheer joy.*
