rimturseAte at Rib-House in Silkeborg today. Ohhh yum yum yum. Nachos and chickenwing starter, both tasting freshly prepared, although they weren't, and served in hot plates with four types of delicious sauces, I could swear that the salsa sauce had just been chopped up for us - one of the best and freshest I've ever tasted. C loved the blue cheese and chili sauce, and I have to admit that this has been the only blue cheese sauce I've ever actually enjoyed.
Of course we had to order ribs in a "rib house". The accompanying sauce was not our favourite, but it came in a separate bowl. The fries, perfectly sized and perfectly cooked - again tasting freshly prepared, but probably weren't, and the BBQ ribs were moist, meaty and tasty. A bit of salad on the side, tomatoes were a bit cold, but everything was crunchy and recently cut.
Service was top notch, place was cosy, nice and clean, and prices were below average.
Not a fancy-pants meal at all, but a very good one nonetheless.
