Is mother nature pulling my leg?

Let's see. Our garden pump is for some mysterious reason not working, so I need to use HOUSE water (expensive, instead of free) to water our garden, plus I need to take it from the basement, fill it in buckets and the watering can, and walk back and forth several times to refill the can.

I've done this twice. Both times mother nature decided to open the heavens the day after.

Not funny.

On the upside my mum just gave me the tip of adding a squirt of alcohol to the water so they're still all pretty and stripeless! They're so damn clean, if you're not careful you'll try to walk through them. :) *see icon*
