Work, work, work
May. 5th, 2009 01:40 pmOkay, had to cave in and start processing new orders so I can ship them out today. I'll just have to do damage control later, since back-office is still in state of tilt. At least I have the support-team on it.
I'm feeling lazy today, though, and have to force myself to work. I'd much rather lie on the couch with a blanket, a cuppa and a good book.
EDIT: Orders packed and sent, but I just realized that our customers have NOT been able to pay with Dankort, because my back-office does not communicate directly with my ecommerce systems server and they have to make some changes manually. ARGH!
Support got back to me, and although I got an error-message implementing their fix (I hope it's not serious!), everything looks okay so far, I've lost some updates, maybe 4-5 hours worth of work, but the things I worried would disappear are all there.
Another note, I've been using the Danish PBS system for less than a week and it's already crashed twice. It was down yesterday and it's down as I'm writing this. Not a good start - especially since they are the only company that provice Dankort* payment-acceptance for merchants.
...and now I shall bore you no more with technical stuff.
