This and that, and new shiny toys!

C got a laminating machine for his new business, and of course I can't wait to get my grubby little hands on it. I'm thinking homemade bookmarks. :)

And the ultimate proof of how much I love my husband? I shortened the changing room curtain for his shop for him - on the sewing machine.

Vegetable patch nr. 3 is half dug. This one will have onions and carrots. I watched Søren Ryge this evening - one of the TV programmes where he potters around his garden. I love this guy, the way he thinks, the way he talks, I missed him while living in Switzerland and I am a bit sad to see how much he's aged in the 7 years that I didn't have access to Danish TV. Søren had split his garden into many smaller sections, and I want to do something similar, but more like an English country garden style.

Next Søren Ryge program will be about cooking Viking food, which should be interesting. I'm not sure C will think the same, he still remembers the medieval food I cooked two years ago...haha.

I would love a recipe from Viking food. Yes, I know I don't like cooking, but at the same time, I do like experiments. R will attest to this with loud groans.

He once moaned about the quality of meat and stated he wanted to go vegetarian. Ok, we can do this, hon. No problemo. It lasted less than a week. Someone missed his meat. The whines over the very tasty vegetarian food where much louder than the meat gripe. Grins.

Hahaha, that was a very short period of vegetarianism! C was a vegetarian when I met him, we then went on a holiday to his native Cyprus and he couldn't resist all the Greek souvlaki etc. Of course now I get all the blame for him not being a vegetarian, although I was never anything but supportive!

I'll let you know if the program reveals any interesting food experiments to try out. :)
