...hell hath frozen over. It began with a tinge of cold a week ago, then the breath of those little demons watching the pit of minor offences started misting. Soon icicles hung from manacles and even most-evil-overlord himself could be seen wearing home-knitted socks.

I am bored with the internet.

No, I'm not bored with you, I still enjoy reading blogs, being an active member of the OWW and reading various online newspapers, I will of course also still be working, but I'm slowly extricating myself from various forums and discussion groups, and even online games that require my full attention now feel like performing a tedious task instead of entertainment.

My otherwise insatiable curiosity, which the net usually satisfies for me, also seems to have reached a point where I can relax and merely use the www as an encyclopedia and source of information, I no longer become entagled in the web of knowledge, where I when researching one topic, become engaged in another topic, leading to a third, so that in the end I'm eagerly learning about something I ordinarily would have absolutely no interest in; like how a car engine works in detail. Now knowledge is not a bad thing, but getting trapped like that has been terribly timeconsuming.

The addiction is over.

It should be a tool, but it can become an insatiable task master. There is so much out there, but how thin do you wish to be spread? You are so right to concentrate on a few sites that are of current interest and are of immediate use.

Is it possible that flowers have valiantly battled cyber space and won? Tis the season for all things outdoors and computers are definitely not in that category. Innocently speaking here as someone with dirt encrusted fingernails, who has only just been driven indoors by high winds. Grins.

*lol*
I think flowers definitely have a part it in. We had strong winds last week and it was quite frustrating, because it limited the gardening.

The addiction is over.

Congratulations. It's quite liberating.
