Bah!

Hand is swollen and still incredibly sore. Didn't sleep much last night because of it, but at least this meant that I got up early today and got a lot of one-handed housework done. It's also meant a serious amount of pampering from C. Can't complain about that. *grin*

No xray, the doc did some pain tests and because it was not extremely painful when he pushed my fingers, but only when he prodded my hand, he said it was unlikely that anything was broken, but if the hand began to swell and turn red or if it wasn't back to normal within 5 days, he would send me for xrays.

Not impressed. Years ago I got my hand slammed in a car door. It was swollen and very painful. The doctor said I was making a fuss.

Turns out my pinkie was broken. Because nothing was done at the time, I have limited movement. I had significant nerve damage and it is bent and does have almost spastic movement at times. This is why I asked. Go get it checked out.

That doesn't sound good at all. I'll definitely go if my hand is not back to normal by Monday.
