Melting...

I wanted to post about Kelli and Albert's visit and how much I enjoyed getting to know them, but I'm melting here and my brain is as fried as my body. It's great weather for a trip to the beach or drinking lemonade and snoozing in the garden under a tree, but not for much else. Since I barely slept last night because of the heat (despite an open window and a fan), I'm setting up camp on the balcony tonight, mosquito net and everything - Danish style safari!

I suppose you tried the trick of putting a bucket of ice right in front of the fan?

That never entered my mind. I think it's because in Denmark you have to make your own ice (fill water in small sectioned bags and freeze them overnight), so that would be a huge project. :)

We are also melting in Herning.
This heat is crazy.
Albert had his teeth cleaning appt today and has had a tough time coming out of the anesthesia so we are camped out on the couch...trying not to do too much so we do not sweat! :o)

We had a great day yesterday!
