rimturse...has been gone for 14 days now. I'm worried. He's not the adventurer and he never went walk-about before. I've looked for him in the stables, garages, basement, garden, shed, checked the fields with my binoculars and walked up and down our gravel road and the "big" road. No sign of him. The only things that's giving me a bit of hope is that he's timid and tends to stay clear of anything dangerous - also Greedy is coming and going pretty erratically, so maybe she's hanging out with him somewhere.
Timid's disappearance is also the reason why I've been having a hard time dealing with my mother, because she's been insisting on, with glee in her voice, to repeatedly inform me of all the ways he could have been killed: hit by a car, ripped to pieces by a dog, locked up somewhere and slowly thirsting to death, be stuck in a tree and slowly suffocating to death - also, in her opinion, I haven't done enough to find him. She wants me to ask the farmers for permission to walk on and through their crops.
To be fair, she's not been doom and gloom this past week. I suspect my father might have a hand in it, because I talked to him about it. Let's see how long it will last.
