I think there's one in the book I'm re-reading. I don't remember it from the first read, but we all know that my memory is like a sieve.

In any case, I'm off to Amazon to read its reviews. What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon?

EDIT: Skimmed through 65 reviews on Amazon and didn't find a single one that mentioned the plot error. Is it just me? Did I completely misunderstand something?

If it helps I noticed a pretty big one when I re-watched the pilot of SG-1 the other day. The entire start of the show hinged on something being possible that was later established not to be possible. Paradox.

I would ask what the book was, but chances are I don't know it anyway.

Or maybe you're just more observant then they are. :-) I suspect most readers are as plot wonkish as most writers.
