In all fairness, I've never watched the programme, but the snippets shown for the promotion are disturbing. I mean why??? WHY???

no, if those kiddos all were naturals, already wearing mamas scarfs and dresses at home, then why not. Its cute, the lil girls are lil ladys to be after all.
BUT the sad part is that 95% of those are forced in by their parents (or mothers) into for that age unnatural things such as... sorry... TANNING? shaving? walk around in highheels all day? Be Mama's doll because it would look funny if Mama played with real dolls or wore the shit herself?

I did watch an episode, and then I watched another episode, just be be certain what I saw the first time wasn't a one off. It is just sick and perverse and is turning these kids into ego monsters and future losers.
What sort of life can a child have with she is taught that she is a winner and deserving if she is plastered with paint, taught to pose in sexually suggestive ways and has no time for normal kid activities? What happens when the kid's teeth start falling out at around seven? Is she suddenly ugly? What happens when she hits puberty and gets zits?

There is nothing natural about the girls. They have hair extensions, full make-up, tanning sessions, manicures, pedicures, teeth whitening, deportment lessons, which include how to emulate the postures of a hooker on the prowl. They get hysterical if they don't win and one family stormed out when their daughter didn't win one part of the competition, so never knew she would have gone on to the next. That just about says it for the type of family.

All kids are cute until about six,when their adult bone structure starts coming in and their faces change, adult teeth start decending and hair might go darker than it was. Considering the number of moms on this show that resembled horses, I would say the number of kids NOT turning ugly or homely could be as low as two in five thousand. So what happens to these kids? Do they go on to have cosmetic surgery? I think it is all quite disgusting and the show promoting this unnatural behavior should be cancelled.
