I am building my art site, which will include commission work. For that I need to make some new portrait pieces. Therefore, I am making a one-time offer of free portrait drawings/paintings. Read more
I will only be needing a few pieces, so leave a message to this post before sending me any photos. Depending on the size and the materials used, the value of the piece will range from approx. 48EUR/62USD/33GBP and upward.
1. Copyright issues - You must own the copyright or a written permission to use any photographs that you send to me. For example, a snap-shot that you took of your dog in your back yard will be okay. A picture of your grand-child taken by a professional photographer is most likely not okay, unless you have a written permission to use the picture. It is your responsibility to ensure that the copyright issues are in order.
2. I do portraits of children, adults and pets. Since this is a free offer, I decide the medium, style and size of the portrait.
3. I will e-mail you a good resolution scan/photo of the drawing/painting, which you are free to print out for your own use. You are not allowed to use it for commercial purposes. If you want the original, you will have to pay for its shipping. Same rules apply for the original as for the scan.
4. The portrait and the photo it is based on will be used on my website for promotional purposes. I will try to keep it as anonymous as possible. It will look something like this: "Peter - pencil on paper" or "Boy - pencil on paper" (whatever you prefer)
5. Photos: Good quality, good size. I cannot use blurry photos or small passport photos. Generally; the better the photo is, the better the end-result will be.

Image size somewhere around 400x400 pixels or larger. I will work smaller, but I prefer not to if possible. :)
