I've gotten past that anxiety filled "oh no, I've ruined it!" stage with my painting. Now it is just a matter of painting the last layers and adjusting the colour values and shading. The 30 mins painting session turned into 1 1/2 hours. I am longing to finish it, but I have no time; the bead shop takes 1st priority. I have to prepare more products for uploading, answer E-mails and pack orders. Also need to do some house-work.

You're right. I didn't think of that. :)

It's a struggle, though. I find it difficult to switch between writing and painting. Ordinarily, I'd do one thing exclusively for 3-4 weeks before turning to the other. I don't have much of a choice now. I need to get my art-page up and running so that I can start taking commissions - and I refuse to shelve the Hunt any longer.
