So yesterday I added another point to my top-ten list of things I have done which....

It was nice, I am glad I did it. :)

The weather is stunning today. There's a heavy layer of snow outside, the sun is shining...and I am filled with determination to become a published writer. Only problem is that I will have to write/re-write something in order to get one baby-step closer to accomplishing this *snort*

The easiest would be if I could somehow hook up the computer to my brain while I sleep. Then it could write down my dreams and I'd have dozens of first draft Sci-Fi and horror stories. I had a very lengthy dream the other day involving an old arab, a pair of 8-year old red headed twin girls, monsters, strawberry and cream with eyeballs, people locked in a basement waiting to be eaten, magical flying light-beings and a hunky black-smith - and it all made perfect sense.

I somehow let it slip that I partly based the character of Louis' mother on my own mother. Now she wants to read it. I'm not sure that's a good idea - no, in fact, I'm 100% sure it's not a good idea, so I'm stalling her.

C would like to keep it just between us (although he told his cousin!), so unfortunately I can't share. I've been reading your list and I think you're clever to do it like that. It's much nicer that way. :)

heh. Us, and our cousin. ;) Well, that's not like an LJ that anyone could pop on and read, or even like a friends-only entry.

Nicer for me, too. I feel much better not being reminded at every number that I am an ordinary person and that lots of other people have done more 'interesting' things than I have, even considering that a lot of 'interesting' things aren't exactly on my to-do-wish-list. :)

Yes, isn't it amazing what people have experienced? I had to think really hard to come up with my ten and even then they are tame in comparison to the others. To be honest, I'm not a very adventurous person.

It is amazing. And sometimes scary. And neither am I particularly adventurous. I had someone comment later, after I returned from my first trip with the Ls, that she hadn't expected me to do anything like that.

It was kind of nice knowing I could surprise people.
