Got up at 7:20 today. The sun was shining through the venetian blinds and onto our chest of drawers. The drawer is white with dark button handles and the result looked just like small, fat black-birds sitting on telephone-wires - and later, after I'd put on my glasses, a sheet of music. I thought that was rather amusing.

Yesterday was unusual because I didn't do any housework apart from preparing dinner. These past two weeks I've been planning the dinners one week in advance and looking up new recipes to try out. Yesterday was Mexican meatball day. They were nice and C liked them a lot. I probably won't make them again, though. They just weren't tasty enough to justify the amount of ingredients and time it took to prepare them.

I didn't make a schedule for today, but spent most of the morning putting together a re-stock order. After posting this, I'll pack the orders going out today, then exercise and take a shower. I have hopes of writing, but I am a bit hesitant to mention it here, as I never seem to actually get round to it.

Epilogue is down again. In fact it went down just as I was doing my daily forum reading.

Gorgeous image.

I've started planning meals in advance too, and it saves me a fortune on my grocery bill. I buy what I know I'm going to use now instead of whatever takes my fancy.

Thanks :)

We spend less money on groceries as well now and we eat better.

A bird sitting on music? hahaha. What a silly sight! Someone else had a post about male pigeons fluffing out their feathers as a mating ritual. I think the birds of the world are pretty excited about spring. haha

Haha...happens to me all the time.

The birds are excited about spring though. We have a black bird outside and he's singing his heart out even though we still have about 30 cm of snow. Now if he's only sing like a regular black bird this would be all well and good, but he's picked up some kind of industrial alarm call. So at 6:30 am he's going uiiiiiIIIIIIIIIII uiiiiiiIIIIII. I would chase him away, but I'm hoping he'll nest in the tree outside my window. :)
